Anticipated Releases: December 2018

capture-20181203-155506.pngHi guys! How are you? December’s another slow month for new releases (my wallet is grateful), but I still have a small list of new books I’m interested in to share with you, and one of them’s actually one of my most anticipated releases of the year! (Way to test my patience, Heather Fawcett)

All the Wandering Light by Heather Fawcett – December 4th

Even the Darkest Stars was one of my favorite books last year, it hit so many of my biggest buzzwords: witches, mountains, dragons, companion fox (!!!) and I love the ending – so I’m super excited to get my hands on the sequel.

Once Upon a River by Diane Setterfield – December 4th

This started out as total cover-lust, but this historical novel about a girl who comes back to life after drowning in the Thames actually sounds fascinating. I’m also interested in anything folklore-inspired.

The Disasters by M.K. England – December 14th

I’ve been seeing this one around and I honestly wasn’t interested until I saw someone call it Firefly meets Guardian of the Galaxy. How do you say no to that? You don’t, that’s how.

Evermore by Sara Holland – December 31st

I enjoyed Everless more than I thought I would, it had interesting world-building and some surprising twist, but I’m not sure I enjoyed it enough to continue reading the series. I’m so bad at sequels, guys. I think I’ll just wait and see what the reviews say.

So that’s my short list of December releases! Are any of these on your TBR as well? Did I miss any you’re excited about? If you’ve read Evermore, I’d love to hear your thoughts!
